We are a local Almaty travel company, not a booking engine. Tell us your dates, how many of you are travelling and what matters most (a quiet room, space for the children, a kitchen, a mountain view) and we send you a short list of hotels and apartments we know in person. The hotel is booked and paid separately from your tour days, and we plan the guide and the vehicle around wherever you decide to stay.
Which part of the city to stay in
The centre, around Dostyk Avenue and Panfilov Park, keeps restaurants, mosques and the Green Bazaar within walking distance and puts you fifteen minutes from the mountain road. Higher up, towards Medeu, the air is cooler and the evenings are quiet, which families appreciate in summer. Serviced apartments along Al-Farabi Avenue suit longer stays and larger families who want a kitchen and separate bedrooms.
